Warne Geniology

I bought this book in two versions one for my Kindle, and a paper copy. Main reason for buying was that it is my family history from 1650 up through 1905. I have a Kindle app on my smart phone so when I am discussing something with a family member we can look it up. The paper copy is just for home reference. I am disappointed in the quality of the scan. It appears that OCR scanning was set when scanned, but then no one went back to check for the error that are created by the OCR scanner therefore many dates and words are gibberish. I can compensate for this by two methods one is that this book has been scanned both by Google books and by a Microsoft grant. Both of them are available as free down loads of the internet. I also have a Xeroxed copy from an original copy. The price for the paper back copy is two high due to the errors from scanning. The Kindle copy is the only one I would recommend to buy.

Poor Copy

They had the scanner set on OCR copy, but when they finished they failed to go back and correct the inconsistencies that always happen when using an OCR setting. I have a copy made from a library book back in 1979, if it were not for having that old unbound copy, many items in this book would be impossible to understand.
