This short story will challenge your thinking and ask questions of how you deal with change, innovation and employee engagement in your organisation. The main characters – Buzz, Stripes, Hover, Greybee, Queen Luna, Queen Sola, Mr. Wingit, Zippy and a few others – represent typical employees in any organisation, people you may know. Perhaps you can even identify yourself in the story. Supported by a comprehensive website (www.thebeebook.com), The Bee Book may be enjoyed by anyone. A very readable and enjoyable book on leadership and change
By Avid Reader
This is a well told classic story of leadership and change using bees and their hives to illustrate how each hive coped with catastrophic change when their source of nectar disapprears overnight. You may well see your own organisation in this allegory. A very readable and enjoyable book on leadership, change, decision-making, innovation and employee engagement. You may find some parallels with John Kotter's 'Our Iceberg is Melting' and Spencer Johnson's 'Who Moved My Cheese'. If you enjoyed either of those books, you'll love this one. This will be a story that will remain with you over time. Enjoy, I certainly did.
